About ESP32 Calcs
ESP32 Calcs is a small collection of free tools for ESP32 and electronics projects: an interactive pinout for the DevKitC V4, S3-DevKitC-1, C3-DevKitM-1 and C6-DevKitC-1, plus five calculators (battery life, LED resistor, voltage divider, PCB trace width, LED strip power).
The pinout data is transcribed from the official Espressif user guides, board by board, pin by pin — every pin's detail panel links back to the source table it came from. That's a deliberate choice: most pinout images on the web are redrawn from one clone board and quietly wrong for the others, and nothing on this site should be a reason to smoke a board.
The calculators are plain, testable math — battery life from weighted duty-cycle current, IPC-2221 trace widths with unit tests pinned to published reference values — wrapped in the practical decisions you actually make next: the E24 resistor to order, the PSU wattage with headroom, the trace width to route. Each one also states the microcontroller trap that belongs to that calculation (ADC2 dying under Wi-Fi, GPIO current limits, power injection) because that's the part that costs an evening.
What this site is not: it's not an official Espressif reference, it doesn't cover clone boards that aren't in the official docs, and it can't catch every mistake you'll make on a live circuit. Electronics involves real current and real heat — verify anything safety-critical against the module datasheet.
ESP32 Calcs is part of a small independent network of tool sites, including paintcalcs.best, satcalcs.best and fincalcs.best.
